Yes. However, you will need to arrange this with your insurer for coverage.
Mind Up can provide a diagnosis of ADHD for many purposes. However, to receive prescription medication, a psychiatrist must be involved in treatment. A psychiatrist may require an additional assessment to be completed in addition to any diagnosis from a psychologist. This is at the discretion of the psychiatrist.
The cost of the psychological assessment varies depending on the type of assessment conducted and the clinician performing the assessment.
Performed by a Registered Psychologist:
- Comprehensive (Cognitive + Educational) – $2,500
- ASD and/or ADHD – $3,000 (ASD currently unavailable)
- ASD + Cognitive – $3,000 (ASD currently unavailable)
- ADHD + Cognitive – $3,000
- Cognitive + ADHD + ASD – $4,000 (ASD currently unavailable)
- Specific Learning Disorder (i.e., Dyslexia, Dyscalculia) – $3,000
An initial non-refundable payment of $1,500 is required within 24 hours of booking to secure the appointment. The remaining balance must be settled at the end of the initial assessment session.
