Maya is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked in private practice for several years. She has particular interests in anxiety, OCD, trauma, and phobias. Maya appreciates that each person has a unique set of circumstances and works collaboratively with clients to achieve positive outcomes.
Through Maya’s supportive and empathetic approach, clients are able to share their experiences in a safe and comfortable environment. When Maya isn’t working with clients, she enjoys playing golf, sketching, and making jewelry.
Maya’s therapeutic approach is client-centered, empathetic, and tailored to the client’s treatment goals and individual needs.
Maya draws on a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Mindfulness.
A key strength of Maya’s practice is her friendly, caring, and passionate attitude and the ease with which she can establish strong therapeutic relationships.
