Madeleine is a general psychologist who is trained in the field of Educational and Developmental psychology. She has a passion for helping individuals realise their strengths and reach their full potential.
Her clinical areas of passion include mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Madeleine subscribes to the neurodiversity model, which celebrates natural differences in brain styles, and affirms strengths as well as areas for support. She is also LGBTQIA+ affirming and assists individuals who require WPATH assessments.
Madeleine also helps individuals who want to improve their self-esteem and body image, have disordered eating, academic or work-related stress.
When not wearing her psychologist hat, Madeleine is a certified yoga and meditation teacher. She teaches practical aspects of yoga and mindfulness to clients who are interested in this approach.
In her clinical toolbox, Madeleine draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored towards the needs of the individual. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Attachment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
Madeleine provides autism, ADHD, and learning assessments to clients of all ages; and general therapy to adults.
