Jhocelyn is completing her final year in training to become a registered psychologist. With many years of education and lived experience behind her, she is keen to create a warm non-judgemental space for all her clients.
Outside of the therapy room, she spoils her two cats far too much and has been playing tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons for almost ten years, giving her a lot of practice seeing the world through different perspectives. Her therapeutic approach is founded on positive regard and is integrative by nature, it is important to Jhocelyn that her clients feel seen and supported as a whole person.
Jhocelyn provides services across the lifespan: adults, adolescents, children and couples (inclusive of diverse relationship structures). Her special areas of interest include providing LGBTIQA+ informed therapy (as part of the community herself) and relationship counselling inclusive of diverse relationship structures.
