Elise is a curious individual who seeks to understand others’ unique life experiences. Her background in psychology, mental health and disability fields, and management roles enable her to help clients navigate life’s challenges and foster meaningful growth.

Her therapeutic approach is client-centred and evidence-based, aiming to provide empathetic, strengths-based, personalised support for individuals facing a variety of psychological challenges. She collaborates with clients and their care team, empowering clients to become their own therapists.

Elise has experience working with clients with a range of symptoms, including those with complex and traumatic backgrounds. She finds it rewarding to help clients experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, suicidal ideation, grief, and interpersonal relationship challenges.

Elise uses a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. She is continuously exploring, learning, and incorporating new therapeutic modalities to enhance her approach and effectively meet the diverse needs of her clients.
