Elise has over four years of experience in the disability industry, and 11 years in the customer service and management industry. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, spoiling her dogs, and exploring Victoria.
Elise’s therapeutic approach is client-centred, empathetic, and strengths-based. She works collaboratively with clients and their care team, as well as empowering clients to become their own therapist.
Elise draws on a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. She is continuously exploring and learning new therapeutic modalities that would benefit her therapy and clientele.
A key strength of Elise’s is her enthusiasm and passion for working with people. She is a people person, with a desire to listen to, reflect and support others. She is genuinely intrigued by people and their unique life experiences, which influences her therapeutic approach to working individually and collaboratively with clients to tailor their therapy to suit their circumstances. She is passionate about creating a friendly, open, and warm environment for her clients allowing them to share their experiences in a safe space.
