No referral is required, but you may be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. In any case, your health is our priority. So booking a session with or without a GP referral can help to get your treatment started as soon as possible.
If you are attending with a referral, please bring that with you. Otherwise just come as you are and we will sort everything out for you.
Your health is on our mind throughout your journey with us. We will have you booked in within two weeks or sooner if there is a crisis. Please make your bookings through our friendly receptionists or online.
If you cannot find a session soon enough leave a message with reception or send us a message below and you will be placed on our priority waitlist service.
By truely understanding your issues and needs, a relevant plan of action will be quickly established to help you back on your feet. Depending on what you’re attending for will then determine how to reach your health goals. However, in general you can expect that your most difficult daily experiences will be helped first then a maintenance plan can be put in place to assist you to prevent or reduce your issues from resurfacing.

HOW MUCH DOES THERAPY COST?
Individual Therapy
The cost of an individual appointment is:
Registered Psychologists: $255 / 50min session
Counsellors / Psychotherapists / Provisional Psychologists: $165 / 50min session
Couples and Family Therapy
The cost of a couples and family therapy appointment is:
$295/ 90min (initial session)
$215 / 50min (subsequent session)
The Phobia Clinic Program
The cost of the 6hr phobia program is:
Registered Psychologists: $1840
Provisional Psychologists: $1240
Registered Mental Health Counsellors: $1240
Insurance Related (TAC / Workcover) Sessions
Full fee $255 / 50min is payable and a rebate will be processed by TAC / Workcover directly to the claimant.
Psychological Assessment Fees
The cost of the psychological assessment is dependent with the type of assessment that is conducted by the Psychologist:
- ASD and/or ADHD – $2,500
- ADHD (Brief) – $1,500
- ASD/ Cog – $3,000
- ADHD / Cog – $3,000
- Cog / ADHD/ ASD – $4,000
- Comprehensive – $3,000
An initial non-refundable payment of $1,500 is required within 24hrs from booking to secure the appointment. And the remaining balance will have to be settled at the end of the initial assessment session.
Rebates
There are a range of rebates that you may be eligible to claim. We will discuss this with you when you contact us to make your first appointment. However, as a guide here is some info for you to check out:
Private Health Insurance may cover a percentage of your sessions. Please contact your insurance company for details.
If you receive a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or psychiatrist you are entitled to a Medicare rebate of $137.05 per session for 10 sessions per calendar year for Clinical Psychologists and $93.35 for Registered Psychologist/ Clinical Psychology Registrars. Your Medicare rebates can be processed by us upon payment.
Payment must be made prior to or on the day of consultation for therapy sessions and on the day of booking initial sessions or the phobia treatment program.
Digital Payments Information
Your confidential credit card details will be securely stored in Medipass for all future visits.
Medipass is a digital health payment system for processing health fund and Medicare claims without the use of a terminal. Medipass is committed to the maintenance, security and privacy of personal data for the healthcare industry.
